The simple-to-use Inflatable PFD is easily worn around your waist and is a great alternative to a traditional PFD, ideal for flatwater or near-shore paddling. Created with soft yet durable material that is easily worn and adjusted for a custom fit. The waist belt features a zippered stretch pocket for essential items such as keys or your phone. To activate the PFD, pull the red tab to inflate the pressurized Co2 cartridge. Once used, a new Co2 cartridge can be installed, and the deflated PFD can be folded back into the waist pouch. Built for convenience and comfort while providing the necessary safety required on the water, the NRS Zephyr Inflatable is an excellent addition for your next on-the-water adventure.

Note: The U.S. Coast Guard certifies an inflatable PFD as a Type V PFD. However, when worn, it meets Coast Guard requirements for Type III PFDs. In other words, the pouch must be secured around your waist to qualify as a required flotation device.
