The Ultralite Double handed fly rods feature an application specific action design making them perfect for the angler looking to use Spey lines or shooting heads. Also ideal for casting heavy wind resistant flies great distances with ease.
Designed with Hardy’s Sintrix NSX material, this includes an additive on the original Sintrix material which creates a powerful lightweight whilst maintaining the same overall strength.
The NSX material also makes the rod blanks far more responsive allowing the angler to keep control of the line when performing Spey style casts.
Featuring a down locking reel seat with single start threads prevents the thread loosening under heavy use. The rod is also designed with a keyed carbon bodied reel seat for a snug and secure fit for your reel.
Each rod is fitted with high quality ceramic lined titanium recoil guides and the reel seats are laser engraved with the line size.
Offering a wide range of lengths and AFTM ratings from a switch model at 11ft6 for smaller rivers and summer conditions to a 15ft1 fro the larger rivers and heaviest of flies.
The Hardy Ultralite Double Handed Fly Rod is supplied with its own premium Hardy rod tube and is available in a wide range of models for you to choose from.
