Dark Matter OB Surf Casting Rods are available in 10″ and have a 50/50 split. When you put the rod pieces together there will be some space showing. This is completely normal. Just twist the pieces together firmly but don’t over do it. You do not need a lot of force. Due to the lightweight design, the OB is more fragile than a traditional surf rod. While it is extremely powerful, it cannot handle as much abuse as a traditional surf rod. Take good care of it and it will last a very long time!
