It starts with an upgraded blank constructed of F2000 carbon that is lighter in weight but still delivers the same great action of the originals. The overall design is completely different with a beautiful coat of black cherry pearl metallic paint that is nothing short of gorgeous! The grips have been upgraded to a higher grade EVA and have been reshaped for extra comfort. All models now have a black aluminum ALPs reel seat to accommodate your favorite conventional reel. The Fuji Alconite K Guides with stainless steel frames that are perfect for fishing braided lines and are corrosion resistant. These rods have a matching black ALPs gimbal beneath the rear grip. The second generation modelDark Matter HK Casting Rods have been renamed. The H has become the X and the XXH is the Z. HK stands for Hunter/Killer and you’ll find out why when you take one on your next fishing trip!
