Daiwa Lexa TW Baitcasting Reels take the Lexa brand name to new heights! Daiwa has gone all out with this reel adding a lot of features and completely restructuring the reel. The fist thing you’ll notice about this baitcaster is the compact body design. The Lexa TW comes in a 300 and 400 size but they share the same size body. The difference between the two is the width of the spool. Daiwa pairs a brass main gear and a stainless steel pinion gear for power and durability. Engineer in eight corrosion resistant ball bearings and you’ve got a reel that is super smooth and can handle anything you throw at it. With over 28 lbs of drag, you are going to have a blast fighting bigger fish on smaller tackle! The ergonomic aluminum handle features an EVA ball knob that is really comfortable and won’t get slippery when it gets wet or bloody. I almost forgot to mention that Daiwa included their T-Wing system so if you fish topwater or want to do some surf fishing with this reel, you’ll get more casting distance. The reel has the magforce cast control system to help you out. You get all of these features and the reel weighs 12 ozs. That is amazing! Daiwa Lexa TW Baitcasting Reels are available for sale in 300 and 400 sizes in right and left handed models. Choose from 6.3:1, 7.1:1 and 8.1:1 in both sizes. Daiwa added a 5.3:1 in the 400 which is a bottom fishing killer! The lefties are only available in 7.1:1. They are gunmetal.
