The Onyx M-24 Manual Inflatable Life Jacket is ideal for someone looking for a life jacket that is slim and comfortable. While this life jacket has a very slim design and is lightweight, you cannot forget that you are wearing it! This life jacket will not inflate with the manual-only option until the “Jerk to Inflate” handle is pulled. There is also an oral inflation tube as a backup in case the jacket does not inflate after the handle is pulled. This is ideal if you are just playing around in the water or a wave happens to splash up over your kayak and get you wet. You don’t have to worry about your life jacket automatically inflating when it is not necessary. This life jacket is made for anyone 16 years of age and older and weighing over 80 pounds. Since this is a manual-only inflation life jacket, it is not recommended for non-swimmers or weak swimmers. This is a U.S. Coast Guard-approved Type V Life Jacket / Personal Flotation Device (PFD) with Type III Performance.
