He has worked with The Orvis Company in Vermont for more than 30 years. Rosenbauer is the author of more than 12 books on fly fishing and tying, including Universes The Orvis Guide to Small Stream Fly Fishing.

Guy de la Valdneis the author ofThe Fragrance of Grass, Red Stag, For a Handful of Feathers, and Making Game: An Essay on Woodcock. La Valdne’s articles have appeared inGrays Sporting Journal, Sports Afield, and Field & Stream.He also directed the highly acclaimed documentary Tarpon, filmed in Key West, Florida, in 1973 (recently re-released), and featuring Tom McGuane, Richard Brautigan, and Jim Harrison.
